This new entry of the brand is made by Minimal Luxury and powered by LEDCONNECTION, and Habitat – Valencia, September 2018 was a launching pad for UKUKHANYA, new work of lights by Spanish designer, focused on the hand-made contemporary lighting for residential & commercial projects.

Quadrangular designed by Nacho Timòn

Eye-catching wooden wall fixture organic shape, minimalistic concept, natural wood touch and warm indirect light.  It is made 100% with natural oak wood carded to the limit.  Its metallic details in satin gold makes it a very refined ceiling / wall lamp, ideal to illuminate the most exclusive environments alone or in groups.  It can be placed in four different orientations which give a great versatility for interior designers.  Its sensual and unique geometry make it the perfect to subtly blend into any environment.

The design seems to be like stubbornness turned into a lamp.

Made entirely in aluminium and looking like an old soviet satellite, its spinning top appearance create a dynamic movement effect.  Many colors can be made but we prefer the antique metallic patina to enhance its strong character.  Warm atmosphere for intimate ambiences, it is granted by an integrated double led core.  A collection in apparently permanent rotational movement.

Ukukhanya is a debutant without any complex, aiming high, with four collections based on four totally different materials: alabaster, aluminium, wood and steel, each one with their own difficulties and goodness, which have enabled us to offer eye-catching designs with particular and depurated minimalistic lines. Handmade finishes with a touch of mechanical complexity defines by itself theses singular new creations.

 

The designer decided to change the shape of moon by playing with solid brass frames and natural alabaster stone to obtain a collection of magic pendant lamps in different size.  Now you can also play with them to fit the right imagination or combination.  Lola is a sexy provocative lamp.  They are manufactured in three shapes that combine with each other and can be placed alone or in groups.  The fit like a glove in any environment providing serenity and comfort to that special corner of the project.

The creative talent of the Ukukhanya is designer Nacho Timon, with a particular vision on style and large experience collaborating with renowned lighting brands with successful results.  The production is 100% Made in Valencia in the Minimal Luxury workshops, using those antique local ateliers where craftsmen keep alive the old manufacturing techniques.
